About Paul: My father Jim was a remarkable charismatic and humorous dad who raised us two girls on his own when our young mother chose drugs and partying, instead. My dad Jim gave up his entire life to try to give us girls a semblance of stability and a whole lot of love!!! My dad was a former Catholic who swore off the religion/all religion after being abused by nuns in the Catholic Boarding School system, for the wealthy of SF—all after his mother died of pneumonia and his dad remarried a wealthy socialite within a year and a half, from Manhattan, who sent young Jimmy away when he was 12, to the Catholic boarding school (dads side of family are Hungarian Catholics). Dad later joined the navy during the Vietnam Era and was a SeaBee Fireman Apprentice, who loved to surf, spent a great amount of time running his own trucking company prior to my birth, then also when I was an infant. My dad always listened to us girls and we were very grateful for him. He may of had a lifetime of not believing there was a God but my dad deserves prayers so he could hopefully get out of purgatory. more... less...
