About Diana: She was born on August 11, 1940 in Wellingborough, England to her parents, the late Fred and Audrey Smith. Diana is the wife of the late Douglas Romain; loving mother of two children, proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She found great happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She was an avid reader who always enjoyed getting lost in the pages of a good book. She especially loved spending time at her cottage on Saginaw Bay in Sebewaing, Michigan where the peaceful waters provided a place of relaxation, reflection and treasured moments with family and friends. For many years, Diana worked as a Cosmetologist, a profession she truly enjoyed. She valued the friendships she formed with her coworkers and clients alike, and her caring nature and warm personality made everyone feel welcomed. Above all, Diana’s greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed spending time with those she loved most and created memories that will be treasured for generations. Diana had a fun-loving spirit, kind heart, and quiet appreciation for the beauty found in books, family, and the waters of Saginaw Bay. more... less...
